Pray for the nation of Tunisia in North Africa. Civilization thrived here 200 years before Christ and Carthage later became a respected center of Christian learning. The Church flourished and spread across North Africa. In 689 A.D. Carthage fell to the invading Muslim armies. Today Islam is Tunisia's state religion. Though tolerance is shown to foreigners of other faiths, Christian witness is strongly opposed. The 9 million people of Tunisia are almost totally unreached, and there are few evangelical believers. Pray that God will open the door to Tunisian hearts and that he will send his Word and workers to reap a harvest there. Pray that we may find Tunisian believers to train in reaching their country for Christ
